1. What features does MobileWipe offer me?
|
You are able to backup and restore your contacts, SMS, MMS, pictures, videos, music, emails, files and other content of your phone. Also you are able to locate your phone (if it has GPS), lock your phone (in case of theft/loss), delete your phone (in case of theft/loss), restore your data to a new phone and forward calls to another phone number.

2. How do I manage my phone
|
You become a user of MobileWipe by registering as a beta test user. After registration you will be able to manage your phone through an intuitive web interface.

4. Do I need to connect my phone to my PC
|
No, you will not need any cables since all communication between the web browser and the phone is done through GPRS/Internet.

5. What do I do if my phone is stolen/lost
|
You can login to your management dashboard to lock or delete your phone. If the phone is stolen and the SIM card is changed, you are still able manage your phone.

6. What do I do if I buy my self a new phone
|
You login to your MobileWipe dashboard, chose the Config tab and then chose to change phone. You will be able to restore all your data to your new phone (including contacts, SMS, MMS, pictures, music, emails and other files). You can restore the data to all phones supported by MobileWipe.

7. What phones does MobileWipe support?
|
As beta tester you will get the full list of phones we support. We work to support virtually all phones in the market.

8. How do I use the different features of MobileWipe (Backup, restore, delete/wipe, locate etc)?

It is very esay to manage your phone. After login you will get access to help files and support if you have any questions.

9. How does MobileWipe work?
|
You will first need to register as a user of MobileWipe. After registration you will receive a SMS. On your phone, click ”Install” after opening the SMS. A client program is now being installed to your phone. Now you will be able to manage your phone through your web browser. When you for example, through the web interface, chose to backup your contacts, ONLY contacts that are not backuped before are being backuped.

10. What can I expect in the future from MobileWipe
|
We are currently working to support even more phone models. We are also finishing an extensive community platform called "LifeLine". This community platform integrates with the most used services on the net (Facebook, Gmail, Myspace etc). Also we are working with other Life Management and Social Network features whcih we will not reveal yet.
